This will be my 17^th year in education.  I began teaching in Pittsburg where I taught 3 years teaching 4^th grade writing, and 6^th grade math.  I have been at Chapel Hill for 14 years where I have taught 2^nd grade and 3^rd grade in a self-contained classroom.  I now team teach with Mrs. Nicholson, and teach 3^rd grade reading and writing.

I have been married to my husband Kevin for 22 wonderful years.  Together we have 5 children.  Brandon is married to his wife Angie and they have 2 children, Skylar and Hunter.  Brandon is an officer in the Army and is stationed in Georgia.  Ashley graduated UT Arlington and works as a strategic account manager for Rackspace Hosting in San Antonio.  Kerry graduated from Texas A&M Commerce and also works for Rackspace Hosting as an enterprise account manager.  Kara graduated from Texas A&M Commerce and is married to Jacob.  She is an events coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club in Royce.  And last but not least, my baby Meagan, is beginning her 2^nd year of college.  She attends Texas A&M Commerce and is majoring in Animal Science with plans to attend Texas A&M Veterinarian School.  I also have a puppy, Chewy, and a cat named Kit.

When I am not teaching, my favorite thing to do is to hang out with my family.  I also enjoy floating in my pool, and working in the hay fields.
