Carrie Hefner
I am a graduate of Texas A&M Texarkana.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I hold the following certifications:
I have been teaching at Chapel Hill for 9 years now. Currently I am teaching 6th grade writing, and Destination Imagination. I love this school and consider it my home away from home.
Previously, I have taught 7th and 8th grade writing, RTI, 7th grade reading, and Texas history.
I have been married for 13 years and I have 1 son. I live in Pittsburg on a small farm that currently houses 2 horses, 2 donkeys, 6 dogs, and 4 cats.
Anyone who knows me knows that I have a little shadow that follows me around and goes with me everywhere. My little shadow is my son, Andrew. I love being a mom and watching him grow. When I’m not doing something with him, I am always trying to learn new things. I love to read anything I can get my hands on. I also love to learn how to do new things. I have recently been trying to teach myself how to knit and crochet. We will see how it goes.
