Tammy Madison
I grew up in Mt. Vernon, TX. where I graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1998. I attended Northeast Texas Community College where I recieved my Associate of Science degree in May of 2000. After taking a semester at Texas A&M University, Commerce, I then transferred to Texas A&M University, Texarkana where I recieved my Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in May of 2006.

After graduation in May 2006, I was hired on as a Reading Interventionist at Chapel Hill Elementary for our 1st time ever RTI lab, grades Kinder through 5th grade, for 5 years. Currently, I have been teaching Kindergarten going on my 8th year!
I have been in many daycares, experienced in lesson planing with differientiated activities , and ran a preschool in Pittsburg, TX.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 17 years. We have 2 boys that keep us busy, Payton who is 17, and Jayden who is 11. When I did my student teaching at Chapel Hill Elementary I fell in love with this district, I knew I wanted to teach here, and I wanted my children to attend here as well. We have one dog named Drake who is 10 years old, he is a huge part of our family!
What you need to know about me is Teaching is my “passion” and working with children. We are very involved with our church family where we serve and participate in youth and children activities. I love spending time with my family by doing outdoor sports, hunting, fishing, swimming, and riding bikes. The guys in my life are into airplanes RC and piloting, so we spend alot of time at the flying fields and airport!
