I began teaching at Chapel Hill in 2005.  I will be starting my 13^th year of teaching in Third Grade.  I began teaching all subjects in a self-contained classroom, but currently am team teaching with Mrs Hendricks.  I now teach just math and science.  

I am married to Bruce Nicholson.  I have four children.  Austin is 22 graduated from SFA University with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and is currently working in Lufkin.  McKinsey is 20 and a cheerleader at Hardin Simmons University.  She is pursuing an education degree with a major in History.  Carter is 14 and attends Chapel Hill.  He is in the 9^th grade.  Last but not least, Addison is 7 and will be in 2nd grade.  

When I am not teaching, I love to read.  I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. I like to go camping and to the lake.  I also spend a lot of time traveling back and forth from Nacogdoches and Abilene to see my two oldest!!
